"In the 1950's until I don't know when they sold it, the theater was operated by Linden and Ruth Hurst. I can remember as a child going to the theater with my parents. We were friends of the Hursts who had 5 children - Blake, Wayne, Linda, Joan and David. Their house was in the screen of the theater. When [we] would go to the movies there, my mother would sit in the ticket booth with Ruth, Dad would go to the snack bar, projection booth with Linden and a Mr. Sarver (who ran the projectors) and my sister and I would play with the children and sit in the backyard to watch the movie." -- Gail King
