Lawrenceville Drive-In

Part of the Pitts Roth theatre group, a joint venture of the Pitts Circuit of Fredericksburg and Roth's Theatres of Washington, and co-operated with the State Theatre in town. Apparently one of the few outright failures among either chain's drive-ins, and little remembered today.

Below is part of a 1972 aerial photo showing the drive-in's remains (although previously stated here that it was torn down in the early '60s, the snack-bar building still appears to be standing). The dark-roofed building on the upper right is the auto sales/service building which is still there.
