Buena Vista Drive-In
US 501 south of Buena Vista, Va.
years of operation: 1950-78
currently: abandoned; snack bar, projection buildings still stand; was a garden center for some time after drive-in's closing

Opened as the Mountain View Drive-In; one of the founders was Sebert Hull, later of Hull's Drive-In in Lexington. Renamed in 1957 under new ownership. Managed by R/C Theatres in the '70s.
