Tri-State Drive-In
old US 40 (Tollgate Ridge Rd.) east of Hancock, Md.
years of operation: 1958-67
currently: private residence; drive-in lot partially overtaken by I-70

The site of the original Hancock Drive-In before it moved to the then-new stretch of US 40 that bypassed it, it was reopened by a competitor in 1958.

Apparently the former drive-in projection/snack bar building has been converted into a garage for the homeowner.
